First off what is Pioneer One? It’s a TV series. Or a web series, depending on how technical you want to be. But more importantly, it’s a free series distributed on the internet.
The show creators, Josh Bernhard and Bracey Smith, are not newcomers in the business, they created an indie feature film called “The Lionshare” who became a big success. And it seems that they’re gonna repeat that success with Pioneer One.
The show’s pilot was shot for $6000 that was raised on Kickstarter, a website dedicated to help people raise money for just that kind of project.
As for the synopsis, let’s just say that it’s a tale of an Homeland Security guy faced with the crash of something strange with an even stranger passenger inside. But we don’t know much yet.
Go download or watch Pioneer One on their page, it’s completely free and it’s only 1gb.

And I actually (s0mewhat) mean it!
Now, I haven’t gone completely insane, no more than usual anyway, but I think BP has done a great service for the future of humanity. Unintentionally, of course.
Why? You ask. Well, it’s actually quite simple.
Even though they are responsible for one of the greatest (if not the greatest) ecological disaster in history, they gave humanity a perspective on what could be expected if we keep giving greedy people, who don’t care about us, all of our money and all the power they want. Not to mention that I’m sure a lot of people will switch, in part or in full, to a new form of energy. And, yes, I mean solar or wind power.
Is it enough to tip the balance completely in favor of new energy sources? No, probably not. But once everything is cleaned and people have recovered from this terrible thing, let’s hope they will reconsider the option of using as much oil as they are now.
BP will have billions to pay in damages and to restore the environment, but that won’t ruin them because they are still selling oil as of right now. I’m not telling you to boycott the company, but I’m telling you to reconsider doing business with them once you’ve carefully looked at what they’ve done to rectify their mistake.

I have been MIA for a little under 2 months and I’m sorry for that. The updates are starting again today with one caveat, there won’t be a review every week but they will continue.
As usual, feel free to send me something to review. I like hearing from y’all.
Also, it’s quite possible that the template will change in the near future. Don’t be surprised.

Ha, the good old movie. I always loved that song, like most people. And I never imagined the singer like that…

That’s the kind of commercials people remember and talk about. I don’t know the product or the commercial are real, though.
