Fun saturday’s review: TheCriticalCritics.com
December 15th, 2007 under Fun saturday, Movies, Review, Website. [ Comments: none ]

Now here’s a really nice place to hang out, TheCriticalCritics.com is a movie review site and a brutal one!

The site is very well designed, not cluttered with ads and full of nice reviews on movies to come and movies thatare already released. The reviews are honest and they don’t suck up to the people of the industry. They’re not “bedfellows” of the Hollywood machine, as they say.

TheCriticalCritics.com has been around since February 2005 and they’re still doing a mighty fine job.

YouWereMe.com is a personalized center for answers.

The service is still in it’s infancy but I love the idea of a community dedicated to help other people. And the fact that you have to help other people before you can ask a question. Indeed, you have to earn points by answering questions and helping other people and, with these points, you can ask questions of your own.

YouWereMe.com press release has a nice catchphrase in it: “What would you do if you were me?” and that’s exactly what the site is about: Walk a mile in my shoes and help me find a solution.

Good job, guys!

Fun saturday’s review: Splu.net

If you like short movies and do not know the work done on Splu.net, you’re missing a part of your life!

Splu.net it’s 2 guys (Matt Sloan and Aaron Yonda), a camera, a good amount of talent and a lot of ambitions. They’ve given us some already-a-classic like “Chad Vader: Dayshift manager” and “McCourt’s in session”.

They have a wonderful sense of humor and never take themselves seriously. Just take a look at their blog for some of the comments they’ve received, you’ll see.

If you like Chad Vader, buy the DVD, they really deserve the money.
